Nationals Grand Finale Showdown Rules

ELIGIBILITY

• Solo, Duo/Trio from each division (Mini/Petite, Junior, Teen,
  Senior)
• Intermediate or Elite Level Dancers
• Top 5 Dancers (Solos) Top 3 Dancers (Duo/Trio)

RULES

• No replacements allowed.
• Must be a minimum of 5 dancers (Solos) 3 dancers
  (Duo/Trio) in the division to compete.
•  Must place in Overall High Point
• Duo/Trios must consist of at least one differing dancer in
  order for two duo/trios from the same studio to be eligible
  for the showdown.

•  $200 Credit Top Scoring Soloist
•  $300 Credit Top Scoring Duo/Trio

•  Small Groups, Large Groups, Lines/Productions from each division
  (Mini/Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior)
•  Novice, Intermediate, Elite Dancers
•  Top 5 Entries

RULES

•  No Duplication of Studio (see exceptions)
•  No replacement or substitutions of performers
•  No group replacements

EXCEPTIONS

• Dance may still compete with fewer dancers than the 1 st round due to dancer injury or dancer emergency, as long as it doesn’t change size of group i.e., Large group to a Small group
• A studio can have more than one group in a particular age division, group category (small groups or large groups/lines), and division, if the additional group is comprised of completely different dancers. Otherwise, only the highest scoring group from a studio may participate in each Grand Finale category.
