Studio Owners/Directors may use their discretion to
place their dancers in the appropriate classroom levels.

THE SHOWCASE

Convention closing show featuring

• Student performances showcasing material learned
  during classes
• Announcements of scholarship winners
•  All are welcome; no observer bands required.

OBSERVERS

• wristbands $25
• wristbands are purchased at the door
• Observer wristbands are not required for the warm-
  up and Showcase
• Observer wristbands are NON-REFUNDABLE. No
  exceptions.
• Allowed in all rooms

COLLEGE DANCERS

• Ovation offers a discounted workshop rate of $125
  per dancer for those with valid college IDs.
• Dancers applying for the college discount must be
  registered for the Senior Ballroom.
• The college discount is valid only for dancers aged
  17-26.
• The college discount cannot be combined with any other discounts.

TEACHER DISCOUNTS

• One teacher attends free w/ every 5 paid students
• Additional teachers can attend at a discounted rate
  of $50.
• Teachers may observe or participate in all
  levels/classes.

RULES/GUIDELINES

• All wristbands must be worn at all times. Anyone
  without a wristband will be denied access to the
  convention ballrooms.
•  Scholarships earned at Ovation events do not have a
  "cash value".
• No photo or video is allowed while class is in session
  with an exception to staff photos in between classes
  and the Showcase.
• Dancers are expected to maintain professional
  classroom etiquette.
• Luggage and/or large items not allowed in
  classrooms.
•  All chairs must remain against the walls and not be
  moved.
• No glass is permitted in the classrooms.
• We ask that all observers remain respectful during
  classes by not pulling attention away from teachers
  by talking, disruptive phone usage, distracting the
  dancers, etc.
